LittleStars Rugby was founded and launched in 2011 to fill the gap in the welsh market for a high quality, structured coaching and development programme for children age 2-7 using the skills found in rugby to develop physical and social skills.

Launched accross 5 venues in South Wales in September 2011 LittleStars Rugby instantly established itself as the go to training programme for parents and children with 'fully booked' signs at all venues. Keen to expand further, the initial LittleStars Rugby logo was re-branded and the welsh text replaced with a new logo, to enable the programme to appeal to a wider audience with a number of LittleStars licenses made available to develop the programme nationwide. Within 2 years, LittleStars Rugby was established throughout the United Kingdom, with classes running from the Scottish Borders to Penzance with children being coached 'the welsh way'. In it's third year, several of the LittleStars coaches took the programme to Australia and the sessions were run on the beaches of Sydney, Australia. 

By 2021 the LittleStars programme had coached over 5,000 children in 4 countries and 2 continents and inspired hundreds of young people through the Welsh Governments enterprise programme.
